-
- Yes. One was significant for me:
-
- If i use &K4 (V.24bis) my Zyxel 2864D V1.10 makes a pause of
- more than 4 seconds between each uucp file (g-protocol, tried 3/512
- to 7/4096).
- That's limits the speed average at 2200 2300cps! (@28800)
-
- Using &K3 the pause is still there but "only" 1..2sec so
- the averange speed increases up to 3000cps :-(.
-
- All with 28800 connects to Rockwell Chipset modems(ELSA 28.800).
- The speed during one file is approx. 3200...3400cps.
-
- The server is capable to feed ISDN(t-proto) with full speed without
- problems,
- i-proto is not supported by my uucico,
- mails are(should not be) compressed/batched.
-
-
- What's wrong with the Zyxel 2864D?
- Several other (no-name) Modems do not show that effect.

-
- This detailed description makes me believe, that you can point
- to a source where i may get detailed descriptions for V.42bis etc. works.
